3D Technology is all about additive manufacturing and making it easy for the average person to do 3D printing in their own office or home. We provide extensive expertise on 3D printing, we also provide a printing service and sell 3D printers.
Additive manufacturing (3D printing) is a limitless application of ones
imagination becoming real, using this unique aspect we strive to spark
creativity in the younger generation of today.
3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file.
The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes. In an additive process, an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced horizontal cross-section of the eventual object.
3D Printing has grown exponentially over the past few years, making the technology much more affordable for the average consumer.
The future is full of technological advances and 3d printing will help us get there even faster. It is obvious to see that 3d printing will revolutionize the technical world around us, and open a brand new world of limitless creation and productivity.

World’s biggest 3D printer
South Africa has the world’s biggest 3D printer – and it takes up to R7.5 million in titanium powder to fill it.
3D printing, considered the future of niche manufacturing, can make complex shapes, without wasting valuable metal powder.

Consumer 3D printing and bio-printing hog most of the headlines these days, but additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping have a decades-long heritage.
Our timeline documents some of the key technologies, companies, products, services and applications involved.
Our world has a shortage of technically minded people. With 3d printing, we could spark this technical creativity. By teaching kids the creative possibilities of 3d printing.
One day almost every home, office or school will have access to a 3d printer. 3d printing has already aided industries such as space travel, doctors, architects, scientists, construction, and even the motor industry, only naming a few.
Here are a few articles on the future of 3d printing and how it will impact our lives.
FDM/FFF printing works by extruding plastic through a hot nozzle, namely PLA (biodegradable, corn-starch based), PETG, ABS (garden chair strength), NYLON, TPU and wooden based filament. We use all the above-mentioned filaments to provide you with the best product.
For our 3D printing service, we charge a minimum of R80.00 per print and R10.00 per meter thereafter. 3D printing is a time-consuming process and we, therefore, do not charge hourly.
The cost of a 3d printing machine depends entirely on the type you are looking for. You will be surprised to know that the price has reduced drastically over the past few years. You can find all the pricing and technical information you need on our 3d printer sales page.
Can we print in different colors?
Filament comes in many different colors and materials. We can print in different colors but only by layer.
The technology is available that allows us to print with a dual head extruder (two colors at a time) and a full-color printer that is now available by XYZ printing. We will be experimenting with this technology soon!
How long does it take?
3D printing is usually a long process involving a lot of attention to detail. The amount of printing time taken depends entirely on the size and density of your print. The slicer package tells us exactly how long your print will take.
A New Future
3D printing is building a new future
Perhaps no technology has been over hyped more than 3D printing in recent years, but that doesn't mean it isn't delivering real disruption.
